HOTEL RESERVATIONS

The Flamingo Hotel is offering a rate of $99 per night for single or double occupancy to all tournament participants.
Be sure to mention the Backgammon Tournament when making your reservation. You may call one of the
numbers below or book online by following the links at www.nvbg.com.

ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY April 2, 2012 to guarantee the group rate.

CALCUTTA AUCTION

Share in the profits when your favorite player wins by buying them in the Calcutta Auction.
All players in the Championship and Intermediate Divisions will be included. 90% return. The payoffs will be for the top four players in the Main Flight, the top two players in the Consolation, and the top two players in the Last Chance. Players who reenter will maintain the same position in the Calcutta as the original entry.

TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS

The Nevada Backgammon Tournament is by invitation only. The Nevada Backgammon Association reserves the right to refuse entry into the tournament and to refuse access to the premises with no reason required. No entrant will be allowed to play below his or her playing level. No smoking in the main playing room or in the hallway outside the playing room. All fees paid onsite must be in cash.

Side Events

Blitz

$40 entry fee with 85% return. 8-Player knockouts will be held from Wednesday -Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Winners of each round of 8 will receive $120 and qualify for the playoffs. 1st place - 70%, 2nd place - 30%. Players may win up to two brackets of eight, both of which will be eligible for byes. 5-point matches.

Mini-Match

$20 entry fee. 2-point matches with doubling cube. Re-entries allowed and encouraged. 85% return.

1st place 70%, 2nd place 30%.

Doubles Tournament

$300 entry fee per team. 7-point matches. Re-entries allowed. 85% return. 1st place 70%, 2nd place 30%.

Super Jackpot

$1,000 entry fee to begin in round of 32 starting Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.
$2,000 entry fee to begin in round of 16 starting Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
95% return. This is a "Clocks Preferred" event. If either player prefers to use a clock then the match will be clocked.

Limited Jackpot

$500 entry fee to begin in round of 32 starting Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. or at 7:00 p.m.
$1000 entry fee to begin in round of 16 starting Thursday at 8:00 p.m. 90% return.
The Limited Jackpot is for players not of a top championship level.
The Nevada Backgammon Association reserves the right to disallow any entrant to play below his or her level.

Seniors Tournament

For 50 and older.
$60 entry fee. 85% return, 7-point matches. Single elimination. Re-entries allowed and encouraged. 1st place -70%, 2nd place - 30%.

Saturday Jackpots

The $50 Jackpot is for beginners only. All players no longer in the main flight or consolation of any division are eligible to play in the $100 Jackpot. Two places will be paid in each Jackpot. 1st place - 70%, 2nd place - 30%.

After Tournament Tournament

The After Tournament Tournament will pay 1st place 70% and 2nd place 30%.
